About C.F.D. {Creative Food Drive}
This event gives you the opportunity to see Durham’s most creative talent and vote for your favorite sculpture while enjoying many of the day’s festivities {Live music, local breweries, food vendors, a kids zone, and great door prizes}! C.F.D {Creative Food Drive} is a Community charity event/competition where local organizations and students put their creativity to the test by designing and constructing anything they can imagine out of non-perishable food items. This event is free to attend. Non-perishable food donations are encouraged. All proceeds go to Housing for New Hope and The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina at Durham.
Featured during the event: Live Music, Local Food and Local Breweries, Great Door Prizes, Face Painting, Bounce Castle and games in the Kids Zone!
Introducing our newest Partnering Non-Profit, Housing for New Hope...
HNH’s mission is to prevent and end homelessness by providing increased access to healthcare, integrated services, and housing. Donated food will be used to stock the pantries of formerly homeless families moving into apartments throughout the Durham/Orange community and at Housing for New Hope’s owned and operated sites.
